How we got here.
Emerald Translations was founded in Taranto in 2017. The idea was straightforward: stop sending specialist work to generalist translators. The quality difference between a translator who knows the field and one who only knows it through a dictionary is measurable in every delivered document.
Today we manage six service lines, each with a dedicated pool of translators with academic or professional training in the specific field. Our legal translation team has studied jurisprudence. The pharmaceutical team has life science degrees. The e-commerce translators understand marketing and consumer behaviour.
We have stayed in Taranto. We work primarily with clients across Italy but also serve European companies needing to access the Italian market or requiring translations out of Italian into other European languages.
